1.Which Nepali book do you wish you had written?
I think it would be Narendra Dai by B.P. Koirala. The story always haunts me. Since I have the tendency to write a tragic story I’m convinced that I could finish the plot in a different manner.
2.What Nepali book do you want to see a movie of?
I’d like to see a movie based on Ghumne Mech Mathi Andho Manche by Bhupi Sherchan. I feel the book is still relevant today.
3.Which writer would you like to be for one day, if given a chance?
I’d like to be Toni Morrison. I am inspired by her surreal writing so it would be great to have a close insight on her life and writing process.
4.What is your favorite holiday destination?
I do not have any in particular since I’ve moved around a lot in the last decade. But one place that attracts me is Kerala. It is my desire to live next to the ocean and write poetry and stories.
5.What do you dream of being if you were not a writer?
I never wanted to be a writer in the first place. It was my friends and teachers in college days who told me to be a poet and a writer. I’m still working on to become a better writer. But, I’d dream of being an international footballer.
