The 16th edition of Conversations featured Sarubhakta Shrestha and Amar Neupane at Nepal Bharat Library. The moderator of the talk was Madan Puruskar recipient author Amar Neupane (Seto Dharti) introduced eminent literateur of Nepal, Sarubhakta Shrestha as one of those few authors in Nepal who has contributed in as many genres of literature such as fiction, essays, prose, plays and poetry.
The talk between the two authors highlighted how Sarubhakta Shrestha started his literary journey as playwright in his early thirties and moved to try his hands on poetry and writing novels, excelling in each of the genres and remaining critically acclaimed.
Amar Neupane and Sarubhakta Shrestha further discussed on the critical reception of the latter’s noted novel Paagal Basti.
